Most pagan religions, yes even christianity. Was based on the movement of the sun and star constelations. Ancient people saw images in the stars and created stories about them. take jesus christ, why was he, like so many others born on dec. 25, dead for three days and ressurected. It is because dec. 25 is the winter solstice and the sun is three degrees lower than usual. But after three days it returns to it’s average position in the sky and for one hour on dec. 25 it stands still on a constalation of stars called the cross. This was how the story of jesuses crucifiction like so many others was born.
