How Do I Find What My Ascendant Sign Is In Astrology?

Before you answer here is the catch; I have the location and the date but I do not have the time of day. Is there a way to figure out the ascendant sign without the exact time of birth or am I pretty much out of luck?
Please include any references you can that might be useful.

no, you must have the exact time of day. they change every 2-3 hours… minutes matter as well. you could try this site below, they can calculate your birth time based on matching life events with star placements. it will cost you between $40-$200 depending on how much you can narrow down the window i.e. morning, afternoon, night?…http://birthtime.info/

Exact time is best, sometimes you can use noon. If you have the money you can have a professional astrologer figure out your ascendant according to the events in your life. If at all possible maybe you could ask one of your parents if they remember a time frame in which your were born. Even if they said you were born around 4 am that’s better than nothing ya know?
to find your ascendent you would DEF need your exact time of birth. But knowing the other signs in your chart such as moon, venus, mars, etc. are very important because they are the real you, rather than the front your propose to society. And you do not need a birth time for these other planets. You can get your birth chart at alabe.com. Good luck.
everything i’ve ever read about it says you need the time of day; do a little searching though on google and whatnot, because i might be wrong.
good luck to ya!
