Plenty of research has been done on this topic, but probably not all that recently – they finally gave up when it became obvious that astrology is crap. It has nothing to do with personality. The stars have absolutely no effect on you. A passing bus has a greater gravitational pull than Jupiter does on a person.

Although I don’t believe in astrology, I heard there was found a high coorelation between zodiac sign and auto accidents. Seriously, somebody was trying to prove that X doesn’t bear any relation to the risk of auto accidents and just to prove the point, they did a statictical analysis of people of different zodiac signs. Much to their suprise, they found there is a statictically significant difference in insurance payouts based on zodiak sign. Wierd Huh? It was in a news article on Yahoo.
