Even If Astrology Was Real, What Would Be The Point Of Reading Charts If You Have No Control Over Transits?

Even if astrology was real, what would be the point of reading charts if you have no control over future transits? Help me understand how astrology is an empowering “science.” It seems to me a “science” of enforcing insecurities and weaknesses.

There is the time in 1995 that Orange County Treasurer Robert L. Citron managed the county’s multibillion-dollar investments guided by a $4.50 astrology chart that predicted changes in the financial markets. Also consulted two psychics.
He lost $1.64 billion dollars of the county’s budget.
To be for warn is to be for armed. Knowing the aspect about to occur, gives you the opportunity to approach things differently. For example, if you had a mars conjunct your moon, you will understand it is easy at this time to over react on a situation, and being more emotional than what your environment should have to endure. Therefore, by using your intellect, you could simply modify your reactions, and perhaps avoid the a nasty situation. If people had listen (which many of my client had) about the markets in 2008, and pull out some of those investments. Guess what, they did not lose their money. That can be helpful. And the list goes on.
Astrology is not about controlling outer influences. It is about changing our reactions to them. It has to do with our development as a sentient being. It has nothing to do with passing judgment on others, or with stereotyping anyone by sign. There is never a justification of bad behavior, only a guide to good or better behavior.
I think of it like I think of meterology.
You have no control over it, but when it comes, you’d rather be prepared.
Just in case, of course.
